type 8 LOKOJA oval ds dated 4 FEB 1900, applied in transit, Charged
postage due on arrival with 2 d/620 and T tax markings on face, and
backstamped at Forcados/13 FE and Ashford Station Office/MR 13,
slight cover imperfections but neat and exceedingly rare, From the
interim period between the formation of Northern Nigeria/1 Jan 1900
and the handover of postal services from the Niger Company to the
new Protectorate administration/31 March XF-SUP! Estimate 1.200€.
